Cancellations With At Least 48 Hours' Notice
A participant may request a full refund when HNS receives the cancellation request at least 48 hours before the scheduled class start time, provided an applicable online or blended-learning component has not already been accessed or started.
Cancellations With Less Than 48 Hours' Notice
Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the scheduled class start time are non-refundable.
Online or Blended Components
Once an online or blended-learning component associated with a booking has been accessed or started, the booking is non-refundable, even if the participant later decides not to attend the classroom portion, except where otherwise required by law.
Participants are responsible for completing any required online component before attending the in-person session.
No-Shows
Participants who do not attend their scheduled class and do not provide the required notice are not eligible for a refund.
Late Arrival
Participants who arrive too late to participate in or complete required training may be refused entry.
A booking lost because of late arrival is non-refundable.
Removal From Training
A participant who is removed from training because of unsafe, abusive, disruptive, intoxicated or otherwise inappropriate conduct is generally not eligible for a refund.
Classes Cancelled by HNS
If HNS cancels a class, we will first attempt to transfer the participant to an appropriate replacement class.
If HNS cannot reasonably arrange an appropriate replacement, the participant may request a refund for the cancelled class.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are normally processed by HNS within 1–2 business days.
Your bank, card issuer, payment processor or financial institution may require additional time before the funds appear in your account.

The time at which HNS receives the request will be used to determine whether the 48-hour notice requirement has been met.
Legal Rights
This policy does not limit any refund, cancellation or consumer right that applies under Ontario or Canadian law and cannot legally be excluded.
